This is a training staff from the popular science fiction show Stargate SG-1. In the Season 5 episode, "The Warrior," Teal'c (Christopher Judge) challenges Kytano (Rick Worthy) to a battle for leadership. They use training staffs like this to fight, and Teal'c kills Kytano with the sharp edge of a broken staff.

This staff was not used in the fighting, but can be seen in the background on a rack with other similar staffs. This training staff is completely made of carved wood designed to look as though it was all made by hand, with little imperfections, cracks and divots, and a crooked handle. This staff measures 6' 11" (211cm), and apart from the intentional imperfections, this training staff is in great condition with only slight wear due to production use. A Certificate of Authenticity from MGM Studios is included with the piece. Note that the training staff you receive may be slightly different in shape and finish to the one photographed.
