A Space Bear crew cap from the production of Rian Johnson’s 2017 entry into the Star Wars canon, The Last Jedi.

Rey (Daisy Ridley) seeks to develop her newly discovered abilities under the reluctant guidance of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Meanwhile, the rest of the resistance, lead by General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), prepares to do battle with the First Order.

This cap and others like it would have been given to members of the crew for their work on the film. ‘Space Bear’ was the working title/code name for the film, before it was finally christened The Last Jedi. The black cap features a stitched panda bear in a spacesuit helmet on the front, and ‘VIII’ in yellow stitching on the reverse.

The cap features an adjustable strap on the reverse to fit a variety of head sizes. It shows very little wear and remains in a practically unworn condition.
