This lot will be sold on Thursday August 27th (day 2 of the auction.) Lots 434-870 will be sold on day 2 (lots 1-433 will be sold on day 1). The auction will begin at 10:00AM PDT. A pair of Wampa cave icicles from the Special Edition release of Irvin Kershner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The icicles were constructed by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) for interior locations on the frozen planet of Hoth.

Part of an "ice" cluster, these icicles are made of clear resin textured to resemble real ice. They feature white foam fabricated to appear as thick and fluffy snow along the base and dripping down each icicle. The piece shows minor signs of production use and age, but it remains in good overall condition. Dimensions: 15" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" (38 cm x 9 cm x 3 cm)
