A Hoth Rebel technician hat from Irvin Kershner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Various Rebel technicians wore their hats as they worked within Echo Base on the ice planet Hoth. One unnamed technician is notably seen wearing this style of hat while loading R2-D2 into Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) T-65 X-wing starfighter's droid socket.

The hat is made from beige cotton, with a soft peak at the front, ear-covering flaps and a pair of ties forming a chin strap. A diamond-shaped quilted style pattern is stitched all over the hat's bottom half, which covers the ears and back of the neck. The lot exhibits several stains, and the diamond-shaped stitching has some split seams.
