Original Test Printing One-Sheet (27" x 41"); International
Near Mint Rolled; Artist Roger Kastel

Widely considered to be one of the more scarce and desirable of all the one-sheets in the Star Wars trilogy, this poster features the complete Roger Kastel artwork in the original color palette for the second in George Lucas' original trilogy. With only a small handful known to have survived, this early, some say, test printing of the international poster edition includes images of Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett, Cloud City, and more. Upon the final studio revisions to the iconic Gone with the Wind style one-sheet those additional elements were ultimately removed and a darker color scheme of mostly blues and purples was used, losing the vibrant reds and oranges from Kastel's original vision. The British quad retained much of this design. This rolled version with very little wear presents a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get a unique poster in amazing condition.

Other than some minor edge wear to the upper and lower borders, this rolled poster is in excellent condition, displays beautifully, and, as such, is near mint.

The stunning sequel to Star Wars, directed by veteran helmer Irvin Kershner. Widely considered the best episode in the saga, it benefitted hugely from bringing in screenwriter Leigh Brackett (The Big Sleep, Rio Bravo) to co-write with Lawrence Kasdan, and also for its unforgettable final twist.
