Eight original hand-numbered posters made from stills from the production of Irvin Kershner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. These stills depicting key characters such as Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Darth Vader (David Prowse), Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch), and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) in key locations such as the ice planet Hoth and Cloud City were shot by the production still photographers during filming, then developed from the original film negatives for distribution in marketing packets, key art, and other promotional materials.

These vintage posters are printed in black-and-white on textured paper believed to have been struck from printing plates. Each is hand-numbered in ink on its back to correspond with the production photography contact sheets. The stills exhibit curling from being rolled and slight yellowing at the edges from age. Dimensions: (each) 17" x 25" (45.75 cm x 66 cm)
