A custom-made Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) burned make-up bust created from original reference for the 2005 film Revenge of the Sith. Created by Make-up effects supervisor Dave Elsey, who was nominated for an Academy Award on the film, the bust was derived from a replica casting of Christensen's head with make-up appliances from original molds applied. The portion of the bust below the neck was sculpted by Elsey into a uniquely stylized base. The fiberglass statue depicts Anakin emerging from the lava on Mustafar and includes Elsey's signature cleverly disguised within the cracks of the lava on the reverse side. The piece has been expertly hand-painted and finished by Elsey and has an incredibly lifelike appearance. This art piece was done by Elsey as a custom commission; it is made from fiberglass and shows minor wear due to storage (see photos), however it remains in overall excellent condition.
