Anthony Daniels' copy of George Lucas' notes on C-3PO, used for interviews to promote the original Star Wars trilogy. The 12 pages of printed notes feature Lucas being interviewed as C-3PO by Carol Titelman from Lucasfilm Publishing, with the intention of using his answers for publishing projects. The interview was mostly unpublished, but sections have been referenced for various books.

The interview is accompanied by a memo - dated "April 28, 1980" - from Sid Ganis, who was responsible for marketing The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. There is a typo at the top of the first page, with C-3PO referred to as "3-CPO". Dimensions: 28 cm x 21.5 cm (11" x 8 1/2")

Additional Provenance: This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first appeared in the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars feature films to date.
