Mace Windu's (Samuel L. Jackson) SFX "spinning" lightsaber from George Lucas' Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Jedi Master Windu wielded his distinctive amethyst lightsaber in battle throughout the film, including during his battle with Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison) and the Separatist Droid Army.

Jackson requested that George Lucas produce a purple lightsaber so Windu could stand out. Despite initial reluctance, Lucas agreed.

This lot consists of a lightsaber with a wrist attachment on a bearing for duelling sequences in which Windu rapidly spun his lightsaber. It features an aluminium "blade" tube painted orange and affixed to a resin and black rubber handgrip with painted gold- and silver-colour accents. The hilt features a self-fastening wrist closure attached to a bolt and washer on a bearing to facilitate the spinning effect without letting go of the weapon. The lightsaber exhibits scratching to the aluminium and paint, as well as mild chipping. Dimensions: 123.25 cm x 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm (48.5" x 2.5" x 2.5")
