A collection of assorted C-3PO stills from the production of George Lucas' Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. This lot comprises 15 images of C-3PO, 13 of which are from a photoshoot and printed on photography paper; one is a still from the film printed onto paper; and one is image of Threepio and R2 on set. Threepio's appearance was changed from The Phantom Menace, where he appeared as a stripped down, puppeteered droid, to being complete but rusted all over.
The 13 photoshoot images are credited to Sue Adler and are actually five distinct images plus duplicates. One of the images has a sticky note on the reverse with handwritten message on it reading: "Hi Tony! More soon. . . Tina P.S. I know arms aren't what you wanted but its all we had. . ." Dimensions (each photoshoot image): 12" x 8.5" (30.5 cm x 21.5 cm)
This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first appeared in the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars feature films to date.
