A krayt dragon rib from George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) walked past the skeletal remains of a krayt dragon in the Tatooine desert. Bone fragments were recovered from the sand dunes of Tunisia where the sequence was filmed.

This rib shard is constructed from fibreglass and painted in an off-white bone colour. Metal hooks are affixed to the back with plaster for mounting to the large-scale dragon body. The rib exhibits significant fracturing and cracking, discolouration, and flaking to its finish from many years in the Sahara. Dimensions: 52.25 cm x 12.75 cm x 12.75 cm (20.5" x 5" x 5")
