Recently another auction venue sold a copy of this poster, but with the color bars still attached for over $6500. This is only the second copy we have seen of the very rare test print, yet this copy has the color bars trimmed from the poster, probably for someone to display years ago. The smaller size is an oddity as most test prints with color bars were printed full size yet this was not. It has crop marks on the bottom border with no type in the border, so we are assuming this is a trimmed test print of the Star Wars Birthday Cake poster. If someone else has further information on this poster, please let us know.

While the color bars from this Printer's Proof were cut off, a strip of white paper remaining on the right side did not clip into the image. The poster has a small tear in the upper center border, which does not go into the image, pinholes in the corners, and a tear from the bottom border into the Kenner Products tagline, which has been repaired with archival tape. And while there are crimps within the image, the cake and the characters are untouched.
