A prototype decanter of James Kirk and a decanter of Spock created during the promotion of Robert Wise's sci-fi film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Grenadier Spirits Co. designed a number of different Cielo Liqueur decanters for the promotion of the film. While the Spock decanter was widely produced, the Kirk decanter sculpt was ultimately not chosen for production and release.

The two fully-painted ceramic decanters feature removable heads for filling and pouring. The Spock decanter features a "Mr. Spock" label on the bottom with copyright information, while Kirk's is hand-marked "To Jim Proto Type [sic] #1 Captain Kirk" and signed by the artist with the date "2-17-80." Both exhibit minor scuffing, mostly to the bases. Dimensions: 8.5" x 5" x 9.5" (21.75 cm x 12.75 cm x 24.25 cm)
