Prototype decanter of James Kirk, Spock, and Leonard McCoy created during the promotion of Robert Wise's sci-fi film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Grenadier Spirits Co. designed a number of different Cielo Liqueur decanters for the promotion of the film. The Kirk, Spock, and McCoy decanter sculpt was ultimately not chosen for production and release.

This lot consists of a fully-painted ceramic decanter in the shape of Kirk sitting with Spock and McCoy standing on either side of him, with the spout's placement on the rear, and a Gotto Enterprises label on the bottom hand-labeled "Sample 8-8-79 Never Produced Grenadier." It exhibits minor scuffing to the base. Dimensions: 5.5" x 6" x 9" (14 cm x 15.25 cm x 23 cm)
