A Starfleet Operations division uniform costume from Robert Wise's sci-fi film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Starfleet officers wore uniforms while on duty.

This costume consists of one brown wool tunic with small side slits and matching trousers. The tunic features a gold-color Starfleet insignia patch sewn onto the chest, and the belt on the front has a small self-fastening strip. The tunic also features weights sewn into the lining. Paramount tags sewn into the trousers and tunic have hand-marked "8's." This lot exhibits intense fraying of the fabric at the seams, loosened threads on the snaps, and mildly stretched elastic.
