Visual effects pioneer Douglas Trumbull's personal shooting script from Robert Wise's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Trumbull was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects for his work as the film's special photographic effects director. This brass brad-bound, 161-page shooting script was originally sourced from Leonard Nimoy's assistant Teresa Victor. It is dated "July 19, 1978" with a blue cover page featuring the film's title, the Paramount Pictures logo, and "D. Trumbull" handwritten in the top-right corner. The script contains many color-coded revision pages. It exhibits some corner creasing, edge wear, and staining from production. Dimensions: 8.5" x 11" x 1" (21.75 cm x 28 cm x 2.75 cm)
