Lucretia’s (Lucy Lawless) purple dress from the 2011 Spartacus prequel mini-series Gods Of The Arena.

Chronicling the bloody history of the house and ludus of Lentulus Batiatus (John Hannah), the story follows the rise of Oenomaus (Peter Mensah) to the rank of Doctore, the depravity of Batiatus’ wife Lucretia (Lucy Lawless) and the trials of Crixus (Manu Bennett), Ashur (Nick E. Tarabay) and the deadly Gannicus (Dustin Clare).

Lucretia wore her dress in the third episode of the season, ‘Paterfamilias’, as Lucretia welcomes Quintillius Varis (Peter Feeney) to her home following a previous night of debauchery in the house of Batiatus. Made of material in light and dark shades of purple, the dress features dragonfly detailing along its front while the dark purple material, edged in sequins, forms fluttering wings at the rear, where the trail of the dress is tied off using stitched in laces. No sizes are marked.

The dress remains in a very good production-used condition, with only minor wear from its time in use on the production and time spent in storage.
