Spartacus' (Andy Whitfield) gladiator helmet with greaves from the Starz historical action series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Thracian slave Spartacus wore his signature helmet and armour throughout Season 1 as he transitioned from gladiator into rebellion leader.

This lot consists of a gold-colour resin and metal galea-style helmet labelled "Hoplomuc [sic]" with a red synthetic fur crest, a defensive curved brim, a mesh visor, and leatherette chinstraps, as well as two matching leather and resin lace-up greaves with metal rings on the back painted bronze-colour and hand-labelled "ANDY'S S8" and "Hoplomachus" in the interior. The helmet exhibits extensive distressing by production to look rusted, mouldy, and dinged from age and battle.
