A set of six hand-painted costume designs from the production of Russell Mulcahy's superhero film The Shadow. Created by Academy Award®-nominated costume designer Bob Ringwood, the lot consists of three designs for Shiwan Khan (John Lone), two designs for a Mongol warrior, and a design for Tulku (Brady Tsurutani).

Presented on sheets of illustration board, each design is rendered in a combination of watercolour and acrylic paint, with black marker used for outlining and pattern detailing. The character, production title and Ringwood's name are all handwritten in marker pen along the bottom of each design. The artwork displays light edge wear and there is minor water damage along the bottom edge of one of the warrior designs. Dimensions: (largest design): 51 cm x 32.5 cm (20" x 12 3/4"); (smallest design): 34 cm x 29.5 cm (13 1/2" x 11 1/2")
