A stunt Reaver saw blade from the production of Serenity, Joss Whedon’s 2005 big screen continuation of his much-loved television series Firefly.

This saw blade and others like it were made for the production and were used by the fear-inducing mutant Reavers in the opening battle of the film as they chase the crew of the Serenity across the open desert. Made from rubber with a metal rod where it was previously attached to the cannon which fired the blades at the heroes. It has been hand painted to look like well-worn rusted metal.

The piece shows wear from production use, with some scuffs and scratches, but remains in otherwise very good condition.

Materials: Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
