Robin Hood’s (Russell Crowe) light-up SFX tree branch from the production of Ridley Scott’s 2010 historical action film Robin Hood.
This SFX tree branch was made for the scene in which Robin and his friends are ambushed at night. Robin grabs a branch from the fire and fights their enemies off. The branch is made of fibreglass and hand-painted to look like wood. One end is painted red and illuminates when powered with a 12v battery, with CGI flames added later. A rubber tube and electrical wires are protruding from the other end.
The branch has some wear from production use and age, including scuffing, scratches and cracking to the fibreglass, most notably at the flaming end. Overall it remains in very good condition.
Materials: Fibreglass, Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
