Robin Hood's (Russell Crowe) light-up SFX tree branch from the production of Ridley Scott's historical action film Robin Hood.
This SFX tree branch was made for the scene in which Robin and his friends were ambushed at night. Robin grabbed a branch from the fire and fought their enemies off. The branch is made of fibreglass and hand-painted to look like wood. One end is painted red and illuminates when powered with a 12v battery, with CGI flames added later. A rubber tube and electrical wires are protruding from the other end.
The branch has some wear from production use and age, including scuffing, scratches, and cracking in the fibreglass, most notably at the flaming end.
