A Rex underskull and tongue lot from the unproduced film Rex. The film was set to follow the loveable Rex as he escapes his makers and is taken in by an unsuspecting family. The lot consists of a fiberglass skull with a hinged jaw and a silicone dinosaur tongue. The skull features a metal structure inside to hinge the bottom jaw to the skull and resin teeth in the mouth. One of the eye holes has been cut out and there is dried foam latex residue on the outside and inside of the mouth, implying this piece was once partially skinned. The silicone tongue was made for use inside a skull of this size and is offered on a wooden stand. The pieces show slight wear but they remain in overall good condition. Dimensions: head 8" x 5" x 6" (20 cm x 13 cm x 15 cm), tongue on stand 4" x 4" x 9" (10 cm x 10 cm x 23 cm)
