A maquette of a bird head from the unproduced film Rex. The film was set to follow the loveable Rex as he escapes his makers and is taken in by an unsuspecting family. This sculpt depicts a design for the head of a bird character and was created by hand by Rick Baker himself. The piece is sculpted from modeling clay, with inner metal armature wires providing support. This maquette is held by a metal pole and is attached to a wooden base. The left side of the face is sculpted with a high level of detail though the right side remains unsculpted. While the sculpture shows some wear and cracking, the maquette remains in good condition. Dimensions: 12" x 12" x 15" (30 cm x 30 cm x 38 cm)
