Empire, 1985

Creating a controversial splatter splash when it was released in 1985, director Stuart Gordon's adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's Herbert West - ReAnimator became an instant underground classic. Besides the blood, gore, and quotable dialogue, actor Jeffrey Combs played the wry West, a mad scientist quick with the quips that made the biggest impression. This live-action poster puts Combs as the demented West dead center about to inject the head of Dr. Hill with his life-inducing reagent. A bonus for fans is that Combs and the late, great Stuart Gordon autograph this poster.

This photographic style one-sheet has slight wear, including sporadic crimps and wrinkling within the black background image and some extra crimps and creasing in the lower areas. Still, otherwise, it's in excellent condition.

Stuart Gordon's cult horror-comedy adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft story "Herbert West - Reanimator", featuring a deliciously deranged lead performance by Jeffrey Combs as a scientist who invents a reagent to bring people back to life. As violent zombies.
