A stunt machete from the production of Sylvester Stallone's 2008 action thriller, Rambo. Living a solitary life in Thailand, John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) is hired by a group of missionaries to ferry them into Burma. After they are captured by a warlord, Rambo forges himself a machete and joins a group of mercenaries to bring them back to safety. Rambo is seen using a machete he crafts himself throughout the majority of the film's action sequences.
Made of rubber, this machete was crafted and painted with detail to resemble John Rambo’s self-made instrument of vengeance. The handle is wrapped with a black grip-tape and a small strap is fixed at the bottom. The edges of the faux blade are squared and dull with minor aging to the paint which has caused some flaking.
This item shows some wear due to production but remains in good overall condition.
