A set of 10 $50 notes from Susan Stroman’s 2005 musical comedy The Producers.

This set consists of ten double-sided $50 banknotes. These banknotes and others like them were made by production to be used during the ‘I want to be a producer’ number. They have been printed on thin paper and on one side features a portrait of President Grant next to a ‘Bank of New York’ stamp and writing that states that this is a ‘phony bill’ and is for ‘motion picture use only’. The reverse displays a green illustration of the U.S Capitol below the words ‘Theatrical Use Only’. Both sides are framed by a ‘50’ in each corner.

The banknotes display minor creasing from production use but otherwise remain in very good condition.
