Dastan’s (Jake Gyllenhaal) Alamut celebration costume from the video game movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. After Prince Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) is framed for the murder of his adoptive father by his uncle, Nizam (Ben Kingsley), it is up to him to uncover the truth while also preventing the apocalypse with the power of a magic, time-reversing dagger.
Dastan wears his costume during the scenes when the Persians celebrate their takeover of Alamut and during his flight from the city after being framed for the death of his father, King Sharaman (Ronald Pickup). The costume is composed of an embroidered brown spiral coat with black leather edging, a distressed white shirt, a brown Berber-style cloak, a brown leather belt with ornate metal details and three buckle fastenings and a red cotton scarf. The coat features a handwritten label reading “Stunt” and the belt shows the label “Ben C”, referring to stunt co-fight coordinator Ben Cooke.

Distressed for use on production including patched tears on the coat and shirt, stains and wear, the costume remains in good condition and is accompanied by its original wardrobe tags.
