Three concept illustrations of the Closet Mouth and closet ghost hand-drawn by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) chief model maker Paul Huston for the production of Tobe Hooper's Poltergeist. The poltergeists attempted to suck Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke) and Robbie Freeling (Oliver Robins) through a demonic esophageal portal in their bedroom closet. Huston created these illustrations as part of Richard Edlund's visual effects team, which earned an Academy Award® nomination for its work.

This set consists of two small illustrations of the Closet Mouth and one large sheet featuring two illustrations of Steve Freeling (Craig T. Nelson) fighting a closet ghost in his attempt to rescue Carol Anne. The illustrations are rendered in mixed media on paper and vellum. The vellum exhibits a fold line down the center. Dimensions: (largest) 14" x 17" (35.75 cm x 43.25 cm)
