A prototype jingle bell and crew gift jingle bell from the production of Robert Zemeckis' animated adventure film The Polar Express. Only children who truly believed in Santa Claus heard the ringing of the bells, and Santa gifted the Hero Boy a bell.

The prototype bell is made of brass, and the crew gift metal bell is decorated with engraved text reading "The Polar Express, 2003" and is attached to a strip of dark red leather. It comes in a navy velvet drawstring pouch which contains a thank you note from the film's producers. The prototype bell exhibits signs of verdigris patina. Dimensions (prototype): 4 cm x 4 cm x 5 cm (1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 2"); (crew gift): 5 cm x 5 cm x 18 cm (2" x 2" x 7")
