Captain Jack Sparrow's (Johnny Depp) floating pirate hat from Gore Verbinski's action-adventure sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Jack threw off his signature hat when he learned he was being hunted by the Kraken. The hat was later found by merchant sailors, and eventually sank into Davy Jones' (Bill Nighy) locker.

This tricorn hat is made from brown artificial leather with vinyl details, brown cord stitching on the sides to help maintain its shape, and added buoyancy in order to create the floating effect. The black interior features a rectangular patch where a tag was removed after production. The hat is extensively distressed by production to appear well-worn and stained from years at sea.
