Gerald Scarfe's groundbreaking animation imagery for "Pink Floyd The Wall" (1982) is one of the most memorable 80s film posters and was used worldwide for the marketing campaign. Originally Scarfe designed the graphics and had a hand in the (now) iconic video for Pink Floyd's smash hit record "Another Brick in the Wall", so it was only natural that he was the artist commissioned for the film poster. Scarfe's imagery is a powerful, thought-provoking film and poster reminiscent of Edvard Munch's "The Scream". It is an impressive and desirable piece of movie poster art that also appeals to the music and Pink Floyd collector.
