A collection of 114 photographs featuring the crew and performers for the Blizzard of Ozz tour, the debut tour for Ozzy Osbourne as a solo artist. The tour ran from September 1980 to September 1981. The images include candid shots of performances, rehearsals, backstage, various locations, and one photo shows Motörhead's drummer Phil Taylor. Annotations have been handwritten on the back of some of the images. Dimensions (larger photo): 10.25 cm x 15 cm (4" x 6"); (smaller photo): 9 cm x 12.5 cm (3 1/2" x 5")

Additional Provenance:

This lot comes from the personal collection of David Tangye. He worked closely with Black Sabbath and went on to be Ozzy Osbournes personal assistant. He co-authored How Black Was Our Sabbath: An Unauthorised View From The Crew with fellow crew member Graham Wright.
