This is a typewriter used by Walter Sparrow (Jim Carrey) in the 2007 suspense thriller The Number 23. It can be seen toward the end of the film as Sparrow uses it in his attempt to type a suicide note. This item is a working Remington Rand Deluxe typewriter, which was made in 1948; the first portable model made by Remington after WWII. The typewriter measures approximately 6” x 14” x 12” (15cm x 36cm x 31cm) and is in excellent condition.
