A light-up teleportation helmet used in the production of the Louis Leterrier crime thriller Now You See Me. Brought together by an unknown benefactor, four magicians are put through a series of tasks to prove their worth – and steal a whole lot of money in the process. Can FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) and Interpol agent Alma Dray (Melanie Laurent) stop them before their plan comes together?
This helmet was used for the scene in which “The Four Horsemen” steal the contents of the vault of audience member Etienne Garcia (José Garcia) at their big stage show in Las Vegas, with this helmet screen matching the one used in the illusion to “teleport” Etienne into the vault. Made of aluminium, the helmet has light-up sections attached to arms running across the scalp which can be activated with a switch at the rear and a boom microphone in front of the mouth. Foam lines the ear pads.

Displaying some light wear from use, the helmet remains in very good production-used condition and is presented on a custom-made light-up display base featuring the film’s title artwork. The piece measures 28 cm x 22 cm x 35 cm (11" x 8 3/4" x 13 3/4") when displayed.
