A Graham Chapman military jacket from Terry Jones' musical comedy Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. Chapman wore an elegant jacket while playing a military doctor in the First Anglo-Zulu War, who examined a soldier's missing leg, bitten off by a tiger which turned out to be two men in a costume.

The Meaning of Life was the final feature film from the Monty Python troupe and was met with critical acclaim. Chapman was a beloved comedian who sadly passed away in 1989 at the age of 48, but not before leaving an indelible mark on both cinema and TV with his performances and writing.

The jacket has a costume label sewn in its inside pocket on which Chapman's full name is printed. The garment exhibits discolouration on its collar and has some missing buttons on the shoulders.
