This is a set of demon bird creature body parts from the production of the 2007 Stephen King book adaptation, The Mist. These unfinished pieces were created for the demon birds, which were one of the numerous villains in the movie who appeared from mist, attacking and killing everything they could!
The set includes three separate, foam latex pieces, including a head skin cast, body skin cast and one double hooked wing. The wing itself features an adjustable metal core which can be bent back and forth at the joints. Additionally, the torso body section features small holes on both sides, which have been marked with the letters, "LF, LR, W, RF, RR" indicating the placement for the birds legs and wings. The measurements for each component are approximately: 14" x 7" (36cm x 18cm) for each hand, the wing 25" x 17" (64cm x 43cm) and the body 19" x 11" (48cm x 28cm.) This lot displays wear from use and storage (see photos) but overall each piece remains in good condition.
