A Man-Ape stunt mask and baby from Carol and David Hughes’ Missing Link. The mask is made from a fiberglass underskull that is covered with foam latex and is painted with detail in order to give the Ape-Man an ancient appearance. Hand-punched hair is present throughout the face and the hair on the top of the head originates from a wig. The mask is presented on a wooden base.
The baby is made of a foam core and is covered with foam latex that is painted to match the skin tone of the Man-Ape. The baby also exhibits head injuries and dried blood. Glued-on hair is present on multiple areas on the baby’s body. These items show cracking and have become brittle in some areas but are offered in overall good condition. Dimensions (mask on base): 10" x 9.5" x 12" (25 cm x 24 cm x 30 cm); Dimensions (baby): 25" x 16" x 5.5" (64 cm x 41 cm x 14 cm)
