A baby Joe (Verne Troyer) costume display with a mechanical head from Ron Underwood's Mighty Joe Young. The titular gorilla was just a baby when his mother was killed by poachers and Jill Young (Mika Boorem), then still a child herself, promised to protect him.

Created by SFX makeup artist Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios, this gorilla suit is built from foam latex with black faux fur punched throughout and resin teeth and brown acrylic eyes inset in the face. The head features mechanical pulleys designed to articulate the gorilla's jaw from the interior, as well as a fiberglass bust of Troyer for stability. The costume comes displayed on a custom-made black wood and metal stand. The foam latex exhibits hardening from age. Dimensions: (displayed) 20" x 24" x 32" (51 cm x 61 cm x 81.5 cm)
