Skeletor's (Frank Langella) armor from Gary Goddard's fantasy adventure Masters of the Universe. After taking control of Castle Grayskull and absorbing the powers of the universe, Skeletor (Frank Langella) transformed himself into a god-like figure, clad in golden armor.

This lot consists of fiberglass armor with snap-button closures consisting of an ornately detailed chest piece with leather shoulder straps, shoulder plates, and a belt marked "D," all padded with gold-color, cloth-wrapped foam and painted gold-color with a gloss finish; a sparkling gold-color lame-blend shoulder cape with a high collar, gold-color gloves with skull-shaped fingertips sewn on, matching pteruges on the belt; a pair of gold-color painted, cast resin gauntlets with fastening strip closures mounted to a custom-made, velvet-lined wooden display base with gold-color mesh gloved hands. Each gauntlet features a pair of red lights and nine other bulbs designed to illuminate in sequence when a power plug concealed in the gauntlets is plugged in. This lot exhibits peeling cloth on the shoulder pads, wrinkling in the pteruges, and chipped paint throughout.
