Before linen backing, the poster had pinholes and small chips within the border. Some fold line touchup was needed, and the edges have been airbrushed.

Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell star in this prestige noir, which had an infamously fraught production. Stars Russell and Gloria Graham clashed with director Josef von Sternberg, and Nicholas Ray was brought in to oversee reshoots.
