Original first year of release UK Quad for Irwin Allen's fantasy adventure The Lost World (1960) based on the novel by Arthur Conan Doyle. The production famously had a low budget meaning the special effects for the prehistoric creatures were limited and created by groundbreaking special effects artist Willis H. O'Brien (known for his work on the original King Kong film). Allen originally wanted to use stop-motion but instead used actual lizards, iguanas and crocodiles with miniature horns and fins applied. A colourful and impactful design featuring beautifully detailed artwork, particularly of the "dinosaurs".

Condition: Very Good to Excellent

Unrestored, folded (as issued). Minor handling and edge wear with single pinholes in each corner and a small area of paper loss in the top-right. The image is unaffected and displays to stunning effect.
