A light-up vest worn in the sci-fi action movie Lost In Space. When a terrorist plot leaves the Jupiter II space ship lost in deep space, the stranded Robinson family and pilot Don West (Matt LeBlanc) must band together to find their way off of an alien world.
This rubberized tactical vest can be seeing being worn by the treacherous Smith immediately before the attack by the alien spiders. The vest was originally a scuba diving vest, customized by the prop department to look like futuristic exploration equipment. A large pipe on the back is connected to a rubber pack made to look like a fan. On either side are prop air tanks, one foam and one resin construction. Coming from these tanks is a series of clear tubes running across the vest’s surface. These pipes light neon blue when a switch is flicked on a set of (newly made) power packs.

Well used during filming, the rubber pack has deteriorated slightly but the vest otherwise remains in a very good production-used condition.

Please note: The power packs require 9V batteries for use. Due to recent UK legislation regarding the shipment of batteries through mail and couriers, batteries are not included.
