"But Grandmama, you look sort of funny" sort of furry."
A sheep head mask from Donald Sturrock's 1995 TV movie adaptation of Roald Dahl's twisted tale Little Red Riding Hood.
The woods are full of dangers, full of lamb and deer-napping pigs, laughing hyenas and hungry wolves, but never underestimate a little girl in a red hood.
Masks were worn by the supporting animal cast alongside Little Red Riding Hood (Julie Walters). The opening seen depicts a vile pig and hyena kidnapping young deer and sheep, the sheep are seen throughout the film usually with Little Red Riding Hood. The mask is fibreglass and resin with glass eyes and faux fur, there is an inner support helmet on the inside. The mask shows minimal wear from production use with light staining on the inside and outside and loose faux hairs on the outside, however, it remains in an excellent condition.
Materials: Resin, Glass, Man-Made Woven Fibres.
