This is the daily report for Leland 'Buzz' Meeks (Darrell Sandeen)from the 1997 crime thriller LA Confidential. Near the end of the film, Det. Lt. Exley (Guy Pearce) is looking through records when he finds something in Meeks's report that gives him a major clue into the mystery. This book is canvas bound. The front says "Daily Report Detective Officer Los Angeles Police Department," with "Meeks, L." and "1940" written in marker. Inside are many blank pages of daily reports, but the middle features 19 pages with daily logs and clock-in, clock-out times. Also inside are various documents, many of them random receipts that have nothing to do with the film, paper-clipped to the pages to give the book a frequently- used look. The item is in good condition, intentionally distressed for the film.
