Six 1952 California license plates from Curtis Hanson's L.A. Confidential. Edmund "Shotgun Ed" Exley (Guy Pearce), Wendell "Bud" White (Russell Crowe), and "Hollywood Jack" Vincennes (Kevin Spacey) uncovered their boss' (James Cromwell) corruption while serving as policemen in 1953 Los Angeles. The film was widely acclaimed for its depiction of the era, receiving nine Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture and for the art and set direction by Jeannine Oppewall and Jay Hart. These license plates are ultimately unseen in the final cut.

Custom-designed by Hart's team for the film's picture cars, these six period-accurate black and yellow aluminum plates with distinct numbers all feature two screw holes on top for mounting to vehicles and "19 California 52" stamped on bottom. The set exhibits scratching throughout from production. Dimensions: (each) 14" x 6" (35.75 cm x 15.25 cm)
