“Um, listen, boys. I've had a rather emotional day, so whatever your beef with Eggsy is - and I'm sure it's well founded - I'd appreciate it enormously if you could just leave us in peace, until I can finish this lovely pint of Guinness.”
A prop personal defence weapon used in Matthew Vaughn’s 2014 tongue-in-cheek action-adventure film Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Taken from a life of booze and petty crime, former Marine Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin (Taron Egerton) is trained by secret agent Harry Hart (Colin Firth) in the ways of the gentleman spy to join the secretive Kingsmen intelligence organisation.
This SMG and others like it were used by members of the mercenary army working for the elusive criminal mastermind Richmond Valentine (Samuel L Jackson) in his mountain base. Eggsy used one in his escape to the private jet. Made of rubber with a metal armature within for strength and rigidity, the weapon is cast from a real H&K MP5K with elaborately detailed magazine, selector switches and sights. A length of paracord has been attached near the rear of the weapon for attaching a sling. The SMG is finished in white with black used to pick out the magazine and working parts.
Well used on the production, the rifle shows signs of wear to the paint finish as well as some minor cracks and chips in the rubber. However, in spite of this wear, the weapon remains in overall very good condition.
Materials: Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
