Two sick Triceratops toenails from the production of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. While on a tour of Isla Nublar with Dr. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), Drs. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) came across a sick triceratops whose condition they attempted to diagnose.

Created by key artist Rob Hinderstein and Stan Winston Studio for the animatronic Triceratops but ultimately unused in the final cut, these cast resin nails are textured to appear cracked and split and hand-painted mottled blue and black. Both come mounted to acrylic display rods with a base painted red and engraved with the film's logo. The nails exhibit adhesive residue on their bottoms for applying to a larger foot as well as some fractures in the resin. Dimensions: (displayed) 12" x 6" x 15" (30.5 cm x 15.25 cm x 38.25 cm)
