A production-made sick Triceratops spikes in frill display from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. While on a tour of the island with Dr. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and his partner, Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), came across a sick triceratops where they were fascinated over her existence and tried to diagnose her.

Created by key artist Rob Hinderstein from Stan Winston Studios, these three orange and gray toned spikes are made of resin that had been designed and sculpted to appear with organic texture. They were permanently installed in an orange fiberglass display base made to resemble the frill on a Triceratops. This lot exhibits an orange dust residue from the frill being exposed to environmental elements during production. Dimensions: 28" x 7" x 9" (71.25 cm x 18 cm x 23 cm)
