A Velociraptor eye from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. The Velociraptors used their sharp claws to attack their prey and to tap on the kitchen floor while hunting Lex (Ariana Richards) and Tim Murphy (Joseph Mazzello).

This intricate Velociraptor eye with a sculpted green and black core, lifelike green and yellow latticework veins, and a dental acrylic coating was created by key artist Rob Hinderstein at Stan Winston Studio. Eyes such as this were made for practical effects and close-up shots of the Velociraptors, including when the partially mechanical suits were utilized. The underside of the eye is hand-marked "Stunt" in black ink. This lot exhibits chipped and cracked acrylic, bubbles and pitting from the curing process, and mild discoloration on verso. Dimensions: 3" x 3" x 2" (7.75 cm x 7.75 cm x 5 cm)
